Planning Commission

The duties of the Planning Commission are set forth in Title 24, Section 4325 of the laws of the State of Vermont. These include preparing and amending the Town Plan, bylaws, and subdivision regulations. It may undertake studies and make recommendations on matters of land development, transportation infrastructure, energy conservation, and many other related matters.

 

Planning Commission Seeks Comments on New Town Plan Draft

The West Fairlee Planning Commission announces the release of a Draft 2023-2031 West Fairlee Town Plan and seeks your comments.  This is the first step in the process of adopting the new Town Plan. Public Hearing on Draft 2023-2031 Town Plan

The West Fairlee Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing at 6 pm on Thursday March 2, 2023 at 6 p.m. to discuss and accept public comment on the proposed 2023-2031 West Fairlee Town Plan. A complete Hearing Notice and Zoom link will be announced shortly. Pursuant to 24 VSA 4384, this is the required advance notice to surrounding towns, Regional Planning Commission, and the State of Vermont.
